Fusion Foundation launched the debut track 'Well... Moving On' in May 2026 confirming their status as a Nu-Jazz Fusion great! Showing Jazz-funk, nu-jazz, and neo-soul influences the outfit is led by composer/pianist David J Brown. Based out of northern spain and working with some of the world's best talent from N.Y.C, L.A and London, the whole project foundation is built on one of real fusion, hence the name.

FF are redefining a genre with their music. Acoustic drum grooves fused with strong EDM style drum beats overlaid with Fender Rhodes virtuosity, fluid trumpet lines and carefully crafted vocal layers with a freedom of jazz expression, the result is a real fusion of jazz, funk, soul and pure class!

 

The debut track 'Well... Moving On' is a mid-tempo groove bringing together some of the core elements of their writing and performance style, soon to be followed by several new tracks all exploring the corners of this new Fusion Foundation.
